1. Stay hydrated 💦

So simple, but so easily overlooked. Water is the ultimate purifier and replenisher. Take a refillable water bottle out with you so you can keep sipping on the go. 2. Always wear sunscreen ☀️

Lay it on thick and slather yourself in the stuff. Your skin will thank you later (promise). By now most people will know that sunscreen protects your skin from the harmful UV rays, prevents premature aging and sunburn and most importantly lowers skin cancer risks.

3. Unplug 🔌

Switch off your devices and have a social media free day/week. Then you can be social in real life and enjoy being in the moment.

4. Go outside 🌱

Whether it’s on the beach, in the countryside, in the mountains or even your back yard. Get outside and breathe in that fresh clean air.

5. Turn it up 🎶

Get that summer playlist on the go and crank the volume up. When we listen to joyful, happy music, our brains usually produce chemicals such as serotonin and dopamine, which make us feel happy. 6. Try something new 🎨

Take a step out of your comfort zone… Sign up for a language or art class, salsa dancing, culinary school, a photography course or learn to surf! Try something that you’ve never done before. Even if this new “thing” doesn’t work out, at least you can say you tried it. Better to have tried and failed, than never to have tried at all.

7. Volunteer ❤️

Do something worthwhile this summer to really make a positive impact on our planet and/or your local community. It’s your future after all. Making a change can be big or small. So sign up to save the turtles, join the clean up crew on the beach, or cut out single use plastics by investing in a stainless steel straw for yourself. Doing something is always better than doing nothing. Plus volunteering has been proven to counteract the effects of stress, increase self-confidence, combat depression and provide a sense of purpose.
